NEW BUSINESS:  The Town Council will discuss and take action on the following:

  1. Presentation by the Local Government Corporation (LGC) and County of El Paso on the El Paso Area Transportation Service program and how participating in program can benefit the Town of Clint – Mayor Cano / County of El Paso Transportation Engineer – Daniel Marquez
  2. Discuss and take action on the Town of Clint’s participation in the El Paso Area Transportation Service program (LGC) and necessary next steps – Mayor Cano
  3. Discuss and take action on authorizing the Mayor to sign agreement to extend engineering services contract between the Town of Clint and Huitt-Zollars, Inc. – Mayor Cano
  4. Discuss and take action on approval of a task order by Huitt – Zollars, Inc. for the traffic study of Clint Commons Kinship Community development – Mayor Cano
  5. Discuss and take action on a Resolution appointing Mayor Ramon Cano as the representative to the MPO’s Transportation Project Advisory Committee TPAC) – Mayor Cano
  6. Discuss and take action on a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign a letter to allow the Bojorquez Law Firm to represent both Clint and Horizon /city with regard to the Interlocal Agreement for Vector Control services – Mayor Cano
  7. Discuss and take action approving Interlocal Agreement with Horizon City for Vector Control services – Mayor Cano
  8. Discuss and take action on Authorizing the Mayor to open an additional bank account with WestStar Bank to manage the funds and expenditures related to American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and apply the same authorized signers as regular town accounts – Mayor Cano
  9. Discuss and take action on authorizing the Mayor to attend the TML Budget and Tax Rate workshop in Bastrop, TX. On June 30th, and authorize the payment of registration fee ($95) and hotel expense ($130) and other expenses as approved by council from account 54038 – Professional Training – Mayor Cano
  1. EXECUTIVE SESSSION:

The City Council of the Town of Clint may recess into EXECUTIVE SESSION pursuant to the Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapter D, under Article 551.071 – Consultation with Attorney; 551.072 – Deliberation Regarding Real Property 551.073 – Deliberation Regarding Gifts and Donations; 551.074 – Personnel Matters; 551.076 – Deliberation Regarding Security Devices and 551.087 – Deliberation Regarding Economic Development
