OPEN MEETINGS DURING COVID-19 EMBERGENCY DISASTER PERIOD:
After declaring a state emergency on March 16, 2020, Governor Greg Abbott temporarily suspended certain requirements of the Texas Open Meetings Act that require governmental officials and the public to be physically present at the public meeting location in order to reduce face-to-face contact and mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
The Town Council and staff will participate in this meeting in person at the Community Center located at 200 N. San Elizario Road, or via telephone conference.
Participation by members of the public is welcome. Members of the public may participate in the telephone conference, by calling the number provided below:

B. Discuss and take action to award to Del Mar Contracting, Inc. the construction contract for the base bid and alternate bid (pending TDA approval) for the Robert Alvarez Street Reconstruction project (TxCDBG Contract No. 7219079) in the amount of $184,469.00 – Huitt Zollars – Alejandra Gallegos
C. Discuss and take action on joint representation agreement with Horizon City for legal assistance to both towns on interlocal agreement regarding vector control services – Asst. City Attorney Bertha Ontiveros
D. Discuss and take action on overtime for police and other town employees for COVID activities, police overtime under other grants and COVID budget for FY2019-20 and FY2020-21 – Chief Victor Perez/Town Accountant Dianne Johnson

G. Public Hearing – Second Reading on an Ordinance of the Town Council of the Town of Clint, Texas, approving the 2020 ad valorem tax rate and levy on the assessed valuation of all taxable property within the corporate limits of the town; savings clause and effective date – Town Accountant Dianne Johnson
