- Discuss and take action to approve a Resolution authorizing an Agreement between the Town of Clint and Daybright Financial for employee health benefits for FY 2026 – Mayor Cano/Ismael Rodriguez – Daybright Financial
NEW BUSINESS: Town Council will discuss and take action on the following:
- Discuss and take action to accept resignation of first Aldermen of the Town Council – Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action to fill vacancy position for Alderman of the Town Council – Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action to accept resignation of second Alderman of the Town Council – Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action to fill vacancy position for Alderman of the Town Council – Mayor Cano
- Public Hearing – on the Town of Clint, Texas adoption of the 2025-2026 Ad Valorem Tax Rate at the Voter Approved Rate – Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action on a Resolution of the Town of Clint, Texas enacting the Municipal Budget for 2025-2026 Fiscal Year; Funding municipal purpose and authorizing expenditures – Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action to approve Resolution ratifying an increase in property tax revenues from the previous fiscal year as reflected in Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Municipal Budget – Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action to approve an increase in the Ad Valorem Property Tax Rate by the adoption of a tax rate of $0.641499 per $100, which is effectively an 8.83% in the tax rate, and which is composed of the following:
- M&O (Maintenance and Operations) Tax Rate of 0.641499 per $100.
- I&S (Interest and Sinking) Tax Rate of 0.0 per $100.
- Second Reading of an Ordinance of the Town of Clint, Texas approving the 2025-2026 Ad Valorem Tax Rate at the Voter Approved Rate and Levy of assessed valuation of all Taxable Property within the corporate limits of the city; providing for penalties and interest; and providing for the following: findings of fact; severability; savings clause; publication and effective date – Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action to approve an Ordinance of the Town of Clint, Texas approving the 2025-2026 Ad Valorem Tax Rate at the Voter Approved Rate and Levy of assessed valuation of all Taxable Property within the corporate limits of the city; providing for penalties and interest; and providing for the following: findings of fact; severability; savings clause; publication and effective date – Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action on a Resolution to designate El Paso Times as the official newspaper for the Town of Clint for the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 – Mayor Cano
- Discussion and action regarding acceptance of the Certification of Unopposed Candidates for Town of Clint City Council during the November 4, 2025 Special Election – Mayor Cano
- Discussion and take action to approve an Ordinance Cancelling the Special Election previously scheduled for November 4, 2025, declaring the unopposed candidates elected, and directing that copies of the Ordinance be posted at polling places that would have been used for the municipal election – Mayor Cano
Executive Session: The Town Council will retire in executive session pursuant to sections 551.071-551.076, -Texas Government Code, to discuss any of the following:
