- Presentation and Discussion from Lower Valley Water District on May 4, 2024 Bond Election Projects – Lower Valley Water Dist. – Michael Flores – Lower Valley Water Dist. Contracts/Grants Administrator
- Presentation by El Paso County – “Neighborhood Improvement Program” (NIP) – Javier Paz -El Paso County Senior Policy Advisor
- Discuss and take action to approve the creation of a new Liquor Zone located at 100 San Elizario Rd. Space O, Clint, Texas 79836 on request of owner, Antonio Amador – Mayor Cano / Attorney Desiree Duarte
- Public Hearing: Second Reading of an Ordinance No. 161 of the Town Council of the Town of Clint, Texas: Repealing Ordinance No. 5 & 5A and abolishing the Town Planning and Zoning Commission; Providing for Town Council to serve as the Planning and Zoning Commission; and Providing for the following: Findings of Fact; Repealer; Severability; Effective Date; and Proper Notice and Meeting – Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action to approve Ordinance No. 161 of the Town Council of the Town of Clint, Texas: Repealing Ordinance No. 5 & 5A and abolishing the Town Planning and Zoning Commission; Providing for the Town Council to serve as the Planning and Zoning Commission; and Providing for the following: Findings of Fact; Repealer; Severability; Effective Date; and Proper Notice and Meeting- Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action to approve recommended gate option and installation location approved by the EPCWID#1 to secure and prevent public vehicular access to the Clint Lateral near Cotton Wood and Center Streets – Mayor Cano, Chief Fernandez
- Discuss and take action to authorize the Mayor to sign the Resolution that the Town Council approves submitting the Grant Application for Operation Stonegarden Grant Program OPSG 2023 to the Office of the Governor and designates the Mayor as the Authorized Official with the authority to apply for, accept, reject, alter or terminate the grant – Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action on a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign a letter to allow the Bojorquez Law Firm to represent both Clint and Horizon City with regard to the Interlocal Agreement for Vector Control services – Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action approving Interlocal Agreement with Horizon City for Vector Control services – Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action to approve a Resolution authorizing a budget transfer to cover the cost of the Vector Services Interlocal Agreement with Horizon City for vector services by decreasing account 52003 – Major Street Repairs by $23,832.64 and increasing account 51035 – Vector Control EP City by $23,832.64 – Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action on Resolutions authorizing the Mayor to sign Task Orders from Able City under Contract RFP2024-021, Planning and Development Services – Mayor Cano
- Resolution to approve Task Order 001 in the amount of $5,200.00 to allow Able City to commence Phase 1 Project Initiation;
- Resolution to approve Task Order 002 in the amount of $5,960.00 to allow Able City to commence Phase 2, – Data Collection and Analysis;
- Resolution to approve Task Order 003 in the amount of $22,750.00 to allow Able City to commence with, – Phase 3 Community Engagement;
- Resolution to approve Task Order 004 in the amount of $55,200.00 to allow Able City to commence with, – Phase 4 Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Map;
- Resolution to approve Task Order 005 in the amount of $40,000.00 to allow Able City to commence with Phases 6, 7 & 8: Parks, Recreation, Trails and Open Spaces; Transportaion & Mobility; and City Owned Real Estate & Facilities Plan.
- Discuss and take action to approve a Resolution authorizing a budget transfer to cover the cost of the contract for Planning and Development services by Able City by decreasing account 8000 – Contingency Reserve Funds by $145,660 and Increasing account 51006 – Town Comprehensive Plan by $145,660.00 – Mayor Cano
- Discuss and take action to review applications and select members to serve in the Senior Citizens Advisory Committee – Mayor Cano
- EXECUTIVE SESSSION:
The City Council of the Town of Clint may recess into EXECUTIVE SESSION pursuant to the Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapter D, under Article 551.071 – Consultation with Attorney; 551.072 – Deliberation Regarding Real Property 551.073 – Deliberation Regarding Gifts and Donations; 551.074 – Personnel Matters; 551.076 – Deliberation Regarding Security Devices and 551.087 – Deliberation Regarding Economic Development
