A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD AND COUNCIL WILL DISCUSS AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION ON THE FOLLOWING AGENDA.  THE COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO RETIRE INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION CONCERNING ANY OF THE ITEMS LISTED ON THE AGENDA WHENEVER IT IS CONSIDERED NECESSARY AND LEGALLY JUSTIFIED UNDER THE OPEN MEETING ACT, CHAPTER 551, TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE.

  • OPEN FORUM:

Public Forum:  Members of the public are invited to speak during Public Forum on items that are not on the City Council Agenda.  Comments regarding agenda items shall be held until the agenda item is being discussed and the presiding officer calls for comments from the public.  Comments during Public Forum are limited to 3 minutes per speaker.

  2. MUNICIPAL COURT REPORT – Activity for the month of October 2025 – Court Clerk Denise Perez

Council will consider and take action on the following:

 

 

 

     OLD BUSINESS: ITEMS TABLED FROM PREVIOUS MEETING:

  1. Discuss and take action on a Resolution approving Interlocal Agreement between the City of El Paso and the Town of Clint for Public Health Services – Mayor Cano
  2. Discuss and take action to approve a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign Task Order #1 with CEA Group, Town Engineers for an amount of $6868.65 for Recommendations for traffic calming and safety measures along Fenter Road – Mayor Cano

 

      NEW BUSINESS: Town Council will discuss and take action on the following:

  1. Discuss and take action to approve a Resolution Canvassing the Returns of the November 4,2025 Municipal General Election – Mayor Cano
  2. Issue Certificates of Election, complete Statements of Officer, and administer Oaths of Office for:

Rose Hernandez – Alderperson

Addam Hernandez – Alderperson

Dino Coronado – Alderperson

  1. Presentation: Mind Forward Mental Health Center, PLLC – Hadya Gonzalez
  2. Discuss and take action to elect a Mayor Pro-Tem for a term of one year – Mayor Cano
  3. Discuss and take action to approve new signatory for all accounts with West Star Bank – Mayor Cano
  4. Discuss and take action to approve the Employee Holiday Schedule for 2026 – Mayor Cano
  5. Discuss and take action to approve Town Council meeting dates for 2026, changing meetings for January and February to 2nd Monday of the month and all other dates to remain 3rd Monday of the month – Mayor Cano

 

Executive Session:  The Town Council will retire in executive session pursuant to sections 551.071-551.076, -Texas Government Code, to discuss any of the following:

  1. Discuss and take action to report potential criminal activity related to the Town’s financial management and delayed audit processes to appropriate law enforcement authorities. (Tex. Gov’t Code Sec. 551.071 Consultation with Attorney) – Alderman Dino Coronado

 

 

The City Council of the Town of Clint may recess into EXECUTIVE SESSION pursuant to the Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapter D, under Article 551.071 – Consultation with Attorney; 551.072 – Deliberation Regarding Real Property 551.073 – Deliberation Regarding Gifts and Donations; 551.074 – Personnel Matters; 551.076 – Deliberation Regarding Security Devices and 551.087 – Deliberation Regarding Economic Development
