A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD AND COUNCIL WILL DISCUSS AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION ON THE FOLLOWING AGENDA.  THE COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO RETIRE INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION CONCERNING ANY OF THE ITEMS LISTED ON THE AGENDA WHENEVER IT IS CONSIDERED NECESSARY AND LEGALLY JUSTIFIED UNDER THE OPEN MEETING ACT, CHAPTER 551, TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE.

Public Forum:  Members of the public are invited to speak during Public Forum on items that are not on the City Council Agenda.  Comments regarding agenda items shall be held until the agenda item is being discussed and the presiding officer calls for comments from the public.  Comments during Public Forum are limited to 3 minutes per speaker.

  1. Discuss and take action on a Resolution approving Interlocal Agreement between the City of El Paso and the Town of Clint for Public Health Services – Mayor Cano

 

      NEW BUSINESS: Town Council will discuss and take action on the following:

  1. Discuss and take action on a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign an Interlocal Public Service, Transit and Contribution Agreement for Fiscal Year 2025 with the El Paso Area Transportation Services – Rio Grande Council of Governments – Annette Gutierrez
  2. Discuss and take action to allow a manufactured home to be placed on 12304 Niccolite Dr., currently zoned R3 – Mayor Cano
  3. Discuss and take action to approve Town of Clint Audit for year ended September 30, 2021 – SBNG Certified Public Accountant – Tello Cabrera
  4. Discuss and take action to proceed with codifying ordinances of the Town of Clint – Alderman Dino Coronado
  5. Discuss and take action to approve a Resolution approving a contract between the Town of Clint and General Code for codification services – Alderman Dino Coronado
  6. Discuss and take action to approve a Resolution adopting Budget Amendment No. ___, amending the Municipal Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 to provide funding for the purchase of codification services – Alderman Dino Coronado
  7. Discuss and take action regarding authorization and use of third-party inspectors for permits – Alderman Dino Coronado
  8. Discuss and take action introducing a Community Wellness Check Service by Clint Police Dept. designed to promote the well-being of our senior residents as well as other individuals who may require additional support – Mayor Pro Tem Rose Hernandez / Chief Robert Fernandez
  9. Announcement: Seeking individuals to be part of the Senior Citizens Advisory Committee – Mayor Cano

 

Executive Session:  The Town Council will retire in executive session pursuant to sections 551.071-551.076, -Texas Government Code, to discuss any of the following:
